  • I was recommended Alter Girls by the shop I bought my wedding dress from. The girls were really busy but managed to accommodate me. My dress needed a lot of alterations as it really didn’t fit me and it needed to be a tight fitting dress. My dress is perfect, and nothing was too much for Carol. She was really helpful. My dress had a lot of detail on it and this all had to be removed in order to alter my dress. I have no idea how the girls managed to do this and make my dress look so perfect. Carol is very welcoming and makes you feel as easy that your dress is in safe hands. I can’t thank Carol and the girls enough. I would 100% recommend. I am so excited for my day now I know my dress is perfect, thank you all so much

  • I honestly can’t thank carol and her team enough for the alterations on my wedding dress. On my 1st visit we discovered my dress was too short which left me in tears! Carol came up with a plan and in the end my dress looked perfect. I needed a whole new skirt underneath, taken in at the bodice, cups and a dance ribbon. When I finally picked my dress up I couldn't have been happier they really did save my wedding. Thank you so so much x

  • I can't praise Carol enough for the amazing job she made with my dress alterations. I fell in love with a dress that was the last one of its kind being made but was far too big for me. Although I knew I didn't have a choice, I was so nervous about getting it altered as it was heavily beaded and definitely not an easy job! After reading the reviews posted online about Carol I decided to go and see her and she immediately put my mind at ease. She knows exactly what she is talking about and is an extremely talented lady. My dress fit like a glove on my wedding day and I felt so secure and comfortable in it. Also, Carol is a really lovely and down to earth lady who I really enjoyed getting to know. Cannot recommend her enough!
